Risk management is important for an investor. If you fail to identify and mitigate risks properly you are either a speculator or a gambler.
However, many investors make the mistake of "managing" risks that simply do not exist. They work possibilities up in their minds and walk through scenarios that are all but impossible to happen.
It is okay to let some things just take care of themselves.
